HARLINGEN (HARNS)


Harlingen - A Frisian town, almost forgotten by most tourists. Harlingen is BEAUTIFUL! It is one of the more beautiful places that I have been to. It's such a peaceful and quiet place. I will be back.

This spot is just so beautiful. I just couldn't capture all the beauty with this pathetic camera.

Nice boat house. Well, they do have addresses and postal codes. They have TV, washing machines, toilet, refrigerator, electricity, water and even internet connection! It is almost like a normal apartment. I won't want to stay here. I don't want to realise that my house had floated away while I have been out for some shopping.

One fine day, these houses shall be mine. Yes! I am greedy! I want them.

This is Zuiderhaven. I am almost ready to jump onto one of these yachts and sail away. No, I prefer the land. It gives me a sense of stability and security. At least I can walk and run much better than I can swim.

This group of guys sailed down the river shouting to everyone in sight and announcing the arrival of one of the guy's daughter.

This is such a confusing spot. I just couldn't get my directions right. I am quite good at reading maps but this place is just a mess. I am almost sure that there is something wrong with my map.
This is a doggies' poop bin. Well, you may of course throw other rubbish in it.

I was waiting and waiting, hoping for a dog to come over to be my model. Maybe I was too dirty minded.
